In Eleven by Sandra Cisneros, a girl named Rachel, just have become eleven. The author shows that you sometimes feel like a baby than an adult.
Through the book, Eleven, Rachel has a trouble with her teacher named Mrs.Price. Because of that, she can’t say how does she feel like [she is shy].
Also, there is a reason, Rachel says that SHE WANT TO BE 100 YEARS OLD! I thought she said that, because that she wants to say what she wants to say.
Also on the 2nd paragraph, it says mom also have time to cry like a 3 years old baby. I thought this paragraph was important because I think that author has been trying to send a message to readers. I think it means, even adult can feel like a 3 years old baby.
At the end of the book, it says, “I wish I was invisible.”
This sentence makes me think of that she is really shy. So that's when I thought isn't that author is trying to make the reader think about do you feel like a baby more than adult? So that's why I think the message of the book Eleven is, “Most of the people feel like a baby than a big tall tough adult.”
