Help please ! steemit community, a little red box started showing up on my avatar icon today

Once it had the number 2 or 3 and then I came back and it had the number one and the little red box is making me half concerned that I can't find it in the feed or figure out exactly what it means could someone please tell me , thank you
I've never seen the flag or figured out where to find that.???
