Yes, an introduction is a good way to start. Otherwise it is like the person just sitting in the room watching others do their thing. The best advice I can tell you is to get on the discord channels for advice, pay attention to what's going on but don't get lost in the mix of it all. All of the best. Also, don't do the "whoring" method as some people call it begging for followers when you interact with people. Usually it doesn't work out for the best.
