Creature: Snapperadiddle🐢🦀
Native along the coastal regions of very remote, if not isolated islands, these small, but ferocious turtle-crab hybrids wreak havoc to all they come across.
Appearing much like a snapping turtle but with HUGE crab-like legs and pinchers, at first glance, it seems merely something to be caught and eaten.
Do not be fooled!
There have been less than 10 encounters in all of history of human interactions with these horrors... 10 that survived.
From what we know, the Snapperadiddle moves quickly and without noise, practically hovering over the sand and sea as it moves. Once it spots its prey or a potential threat it waits and watches. Upon being noticed, it's too late, the Snapperadiddle will already have hold of you with its death-grip pinch.
It is said the screams of agony that are produced by its prey come from deep within the soul and cannot be forgotten by any who hear it.
Many of the islands were these creatures are indiginous are marked unsafe and it is illegal to cross into the neighboring waters.
Luckily, if you live anywhere in the free world and are reading this, rest assured, You Are Safe. The Snapperadiddle (as far as we know) is unable to make great journeys across the sea.

A puggit is a nocturnal animal that eats albino crickets exclusively. It's because of this very reason that it stays around nuclear plants that are highly mismanaged.
There is only 30 known Puggits in the world today, 29 of them are female and only one male who is suffering from diabetes, ptsd and is hairless. We were asked not to take pictures of him out of respect.

Generation upon generation, the mighty Caterbull must eat it's weight in leaves and grass to gain weight and prepare for it mightiest transformation.
As it approaches full size, its horns fall off and it begins to look weak, not from lack of trying but it's metabolism is already eating away at its insides, demanding it find a warm place to spin its cocoon.

So tiger sharks are a thing. But shark tigers are less common. Shartiger. The body of a tiger, but the head, and especially jaws of a shark. And a very, very, very keen scent for blood. If you look out and see the butt of a feline, there's a 1 in 1000....(too many zeroes) chance that it's a shartiger. In which case there's nothing you can do to escape. Nothing....

I made a Peacomingo out of pipe cleaners the other day ('cause kids), which is a cross between a peacock and a flamingo. (The peacock tail helps the thing stand up.) Chose this gif because waterfall of feathers! ;)

I would love to be! Let me add a disclaimer though...
Throughout my time on steem I have been booted from several groups for not being 'active' or 'loyal' enough. I do what I do, and I think helping new users if definitely a part of that. But I am legendarily bad at getting my homework done on time, if you know what I mean.

Basically, we have a Discord (yes, another one) where you can interact off-chain, ask questions, pimp your own posts, etc. Same as most other communities.
We look for folks who are already going above and beyond with their posting (great grammar, use of markdown, etc.) but are wee little fishes that could use a school to swim around with.
I find that having a community is a big deal... Keeps me coming back every day. 😉
And! You'll get a little upvote from us and any others who follow our helpie trail.
We have meetings twice a week, but mostly just to stay connected and talk about stuff we've been working on. It's pretty lax. If you can come and hang, great! If not... you're dead to me....
So... I've discussed with the 'Team'... and we all thinks you ARE that very special type of Steemian we'd like to support and swim with. 😍
