Gabchik Henna. Mandala for Cyril

in henna •  7 years ago

During the last couple of weeks I have been away on an adventurous trip with someone very special. Our last stop was at Bansko city where we stayed at his friends apartment. They are a very nice gay couple and as a token of appreciation I made some mehendi on them.

This one I did on Cyril Georget. He is a brave French artist. I admire his boldness, as his paintings are gay-oriented and he is not afraid to express his imagination. Check out his art here. Share it with you gay friends to support this amazing person. Here is the henna stain on day two.
He smudged it a bit but this is normal. It happens to the best!

Stay tuned for more mehendi from my trip.

@gabchik Have you tried arabic henna designs yet? they are amazing and looks too good.

I get inspired by all kind of designs. Can't see much difference between the Hindu and Arabic designs. Can you give me an example? Thanks :)

@gabchik hindu designs are way traditional. Same and nothing new but arabic designs looks wayyy amazing and beautiful than Hindu designs. I can't write the difference but you will get to know the difference. Just google arabic henna designs. You will better understand after watching some of the designs. 😊

I like hana we do hana lot at my cantry

Yes, it is amazing <3 what country you are from?

So beautiful..!!

Glad you like it :)

It's so beautiful! Do you know where I can buy some henna from? And shouldn't you draw it on the back hand? :)

There is no limitation to the placement of mehendi. The inner-part of the hand is the place where henna stain gets the darkest because it is the most moisture part of the body. Plus this was on a man and the upper-part of the hand is hairy which makes mehendi almost impossible. You can buy good henna from Indi Art Cafe. I would recommend that you order the hand-made cones. Personally, I buy the powder and mix it myself but it takes some practice to master this process :) good luck

Wow! Thank you for the detailed explanation! I have completely forgotten that the hair could be a problem. :D Good luck to you too! :3

This is not how it works :) I would never vote for unoriginal content as this post you provided for instance. A vote should be deserved with original content that I like. Exchanging upvotes is not my thing and is not respected by the big fish.
