Hello Everyone!!

I hope you all are good and doing well. Today I'm here to be a part of this amazing course "SLC S21 Week 3 - Herbal Medicine in the Kitchen". Our kitchen has many health beneficial things that we are using on daily basis without knowing their effects. Today I learned many new things from the teacher @afzalqamar.

Let's move to the lesson tasks:

Create a meal or recipe using at least 3 herbs which are commonly found in your area and explain the health benefits of each herb in the recipe.

For this task I'm making very delicious and healthy green garlic sauce.

Ingredients:

Mint1/2 cup chopped
Coriander leaves1/2cup chopped
Garlic6_7 clove
Green chilli6_7
Cuminseeds1tsp
Salt1/2tsp

Making:

Take all ingredients wash them and cut roughly and grind it in grinder. Tasty and healthy green garlic sauce is ready. You can used it with fried snacks ,with rice and paratha as you like.

Prepare a herbal detox medicine and tell step by step process and how it helps to detoxify the body?

Due to bad life style and bad eating habits we need to detoxify our body . Its simple we can used many herbs and spices to detoxify the boday. We can make different teas and drinks by Infusion. Today I'm making green tea with ginger and lemon. It's most popular detoxifying tea.

Green tea has antioxidant and Anti-Inflammatory properties. It helps to reduce cancer cells and tumour growth. It helps to reduce weight. Lower down cholesterol and improve Cardiovascular health. It increases memory, focus and concentration. It also helps in digestion.

Lemon has many health benefits like Anxiety relief, sleep aid, aid in digestive issues ,its good taste improve the taste of tea.

Ginger is very active to detoxify the body it has used for digestive aid, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant .

Take 1/2tsp of green tea ,1 inch of ginger and boil it in a pan. Strain it in a cup and add feww drops of lemon. You can add honey if you want sweetness.
Enjoy this drink twice a day and feel the difference in your body.you feel light and better.
