As I found myself among the Bracken, a type of fern. I closed my eyes and became still to see if she wished to connect. In the silence, I became cold, and my awareness was brought to my lungs. I felt as if by her shape she could help expel and move air and congestion from the lungs.

Her softness hugging my skin, soothing my blood. She is caring, strong, like a mother, she reminded me to breathe. The softness of my cool blood gathered in my stomach, I could feel her caution that an expecting mother should have a distance with her.

A falling fern knows it's strength in itself, it rests peacefully and replenishes with every breeze that moves it. It flows new blood, new life & courage.
