Welcome back to my hidden places series
I know it has been a few months since I have put out a new piece but with our build and move I been really busy. But I finally found some time in my hectic schedule to set up an interview with the owner of Wishbone Gifts Inc. and get some pretty cool photos of his shop. To be honest I am having a really hard time picking what I what to show you, so I decided I am gonna show a little bit of everything and do two other pieces focusing on the black light room and the glass pieces.
Asking the owner Rod about what inspired him to open Wishbone
Talking with Rod, I asked him what inspired him to open up Wishbone. His response caused me to laugh because it was very candid and funny. I am paraphrasing here as I took notes, I didn't record our conversation. But what inspired him to launch Wishbone had to do with a job he had. He told me the owner inspired him to open up his own business. Because he was a dumbass to customers as he was rude but he was also successful, he went on to tell me that the man was also very smart about business and took him to trade shows and taught him the ends and outs of the business. 6 years from concept ideas to fully bringing those ideas into what would become Wishbone Gifts Inc

Volume wise incense is Rod's best seller but CBD oil is what helps pay the bills. But what makes Wishbone unique isn't the incense or the CBD oil it is the locally blown glass pipes. Of course all of them are smoking pipe but some are more than just smoking pipes some are complete works of art. And their prices reflect that. Some of the pieces on display are not for sale at all because of their rarity though if you offer him enough he might come off of some of them. But not all the pieces are costly of the locally blown pipes. There is something for every price range.

They sell all kinds of cool unique gifts. One of the things you have to see is the black-light room. It is one of my favorite rooms to visit when I go to Wishbone. Here is a sneak peak at some of the posters in the room. I will be doing another piece in the next day or two on just the black-light room

There are so many things to look at when you visit Wishbone Gifts Inc. When I am looking for something unique to get friends I go to Wishbone. Because no other shop in the state has the quality glass pipes and Rod Stocks the stuff other stores around the area doesn't stock. I include places in this series of restaurants, shopping and tourist destinations in the Indiana area. Places I like to go off the beaten path or just hidden that many people for what ever reason doesn't seem to know about it. I do hope to one day expand this series to other locations other than Indiana.
