Did you know this about birch trees and energy?

Birch was sometimes calld witches broom, not because of anything sinister, but because birch branches, when used to sweep aside unwanted energies, tended to work!

There is a lovely birch grove near me. For fun, having just read a bit about these trees, I picked up a fallen branch and used it to 'draw' along the hedged fences of this property, spreading light intentionally. {it's what I do}

The next evening, while taking the big farm dog for his evening outing, I watched while the dog plunged his head into the headges, again and again, looking for something new all along the way. His person, who was walking with me, kept saying "I've never seen him act like this! What's gotten into the hedges?!"

I laughed for the rest of our walk. Some things are just too much fun.
