A sacrifice to start a new work
We all have grown up in sanctuaries from monkeys to 21st century human. But we all do our religious rituals and in Hinduism (Aarya Sanskriti) we offer sacrifices to Fire as a devotee through Yajna.
Places and direction of a Yajna Kund is very important and direction of seating of host and the priest also fixed to call all directional devis and devata.
Offerings are chosen as per shlokas. And we offer oil, wheats, flowers and coconuts to the kunda.
It's a belief that Yagna brings peace and prosperity to host of the Yajna and all the wishes are being fulfilled by all energies of the universe.
