Historic Sites in Central Aceh

There are several Umah Pitu Ruang in Central Aceh among them in Kampung Kemili Bebesen Subdistrict, Toeren Village Lut Tawar Subdistrict, and in Kampung Buntul Linge Linge District Central Aceh District.

Rimba Raya Radio

Monument Radio Rimba Raya is a monument built to commemorate the history of Radio Rimba Raya which plays a very big role in defending Indonesia from Dutch aggression. This monument was inaugurated by the Minister of Cooperatives / Head of Bulog, Bustanil Arifin on 27 October 1987 at 10:30 pm. The monument is located in the village of Rime Raya, sub district Pintu Rime Gayo, Bener Meriah Regency. Historically, Radio Rimba Raya's device was purchased at Jhon Lee (a mulatto Manado-China) who brokered the purchase of the radio device. The Kingdom of Linge

The Kingdom of Linge is an ancient kingdom in Aceh. This kingdom was formed in 1025 AD (416 H) with its first king was Adi Genali. Adi Genali (Kik Betul) has 4 (four) children: Empuberu, Sibayak Linge, Johan Red and Red Linge. Reje Linge I bequeathed to his offspring a sword and a ring of gems originating from the Sultan Peureulak Makhdum Sovereign Mahmud Shah Sheikh Sirajuddin who holds Cik Serule (1012-1038 AD).
