Leading American experts on biblical antiquities will translate and publish unknown fragments of the Dead Sea scrolls.
Earlier, a group of scientists from the United States acquired 28 ancient documents found this year in Israel. Their age can reach 2000 years. Interpretation of the texts will be done by biblical scholars from the Pacific University of Azusa and the Baptist Seminary of Fort Worth.
Dead Sea Scrolls, often called Qumran manuscripts, describe the life and beliefs of the Jewish sect of the Essenes and contain unique information about the life of early Christians, excerpts from the Gospel and original stories from Hebrew mythology. The documents date back to the III century BC. E. - I century AD.
Fascinating! Are these fragments the ones that have been recently found?
