Visiting Diary #4 - The British Museum

Hello my dear friends,
so happy to have some time to write more for you. I have so many thing to share and I am super excited to have this chance to express myself.
If you are a history lover (like me and my boyfriend) than I'm sure you know about the famous British Museum in London. Yeah, the biggest part of photos in history books are made there. And I had a pleasure to explore in this summer. As it's free for visitors of each age and profession, I could afford it. And 4 hours I spent there were not enough to see everything. I should take a whole day maybe.

Museum has 10 departments to explore - Ancient Egypt and Ancient Rome are my favourite, but the rest is as important and beautiful. So if you are a history lover, let me take you on a photo trip with me.
First thing you can see on the photo down there is me and my ancient bro in museum's shop. I had to take this selfie!

On the second photo you can see the monumental South entrance. I am not the right person the speak about architecture, but I think that the design of the columns reminds of ancient Greek temples. There you can find museum’s employees, who will check your bags and let you in. Interior remain in similar style, as you can see... well, if you keep reading.

Down there you can see me with Egyptian sarcophages. I dreamt about this moment since I had like 9 years and you can clearly see how happy I am. I could stare at this photo forever. It's one of my greatest memories from London. There is something mistique you can feel around.

This is me in African department. I don't understand their culture enough (hope to learn more soon) so I couldn't completely enjoy it there. But this masquerade behind me was stunning.

On this few photos in just me admiring to the perfect geometry and classic inspiration of the space. It's incredible. As I said, looks really classically inspired space.

The last two photos are from the part I actually like most. Ancient Greece and Rome. I consider that time the biggest artistic moment ever. After seeing this, I feel a deep respect for those who founded our culture here in Europe.

This selfie is just proud me and British flag. Moment to remember, really.

Well,
I hope you liked this little tour. I enjoyed every moment of creating this post. It's nice to share memories like this.

it's nice post dear.if you described the time by will make articles much better
Like when to get in there or how people are come to visit and so on.
Anyway nice articles.

The best time to come is early morning (let's say 9 AM). When it actually opens. I went at that time, and the crowd started to come at 11 maybe. And it's good to have "a must see list" because you could miss it. It's just so big and everything is so impressive, and atmosphere could make you forget something you really.wanted to see. :)
