Most books about ancient history only deal with the last three or four thousand years worth of such. The Ganymede Hypothesis deals with the last 100,000 years or thereabouts. The Ganymede Hypothesis involves several unusual claims: that in the recent prehistoric past, more than one body in our system was inhabited by humans, that planetary axis tilts are the main key to unlocking prehistory, and that Earth was not the original human home world within our system.
Somewhere in the universe there has to be a place where the first humans that ever existed lived. You’d need a direct line to God to know when and where that might have been but, in theory at least, the question as to the first place within our own system where humans ever lived has to be simpler than that and it should be possible for us to figure that one out.
