The patent for the escalator was registered. It wasn’t until 1900 before the first working prototype was manufactured though.

III. August 9, 1910
Again about patents. The first complete electric washing machine was registered as an innovative patent. Want to see some cool home appliances?

IV. August 9, 1974
The 38th president of the United States, Gerald Ford, was declared as USA president. He ruled from 1974 to 1977 after the resignation of Nixon.
