The historic matriarchy, as promulgated by feminists never actually existed outside their own Utopian fantasies. In fact, when compared to modern Western lifestyles, the 'matriarchal' time period was a pretty miserable time for women. Be thankful for what you've got, other civilisations will not be so kindly upon you.
