On this day in 1994, the Northridge earthquake (6.7- magnitude) occurred in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California at around 4:31 a.m killing 54 people and causing 13- 44 billions dollars in damages making it one of the most damaging earthquake in U.S history.
