Two Keris Indonesia is 400 years old

Month Suro, 400-Year-old Mecca-Owned Keris's Keris Bathed.
Entering suro month, two kris 400 years old relic of Madiun first regent, Raden Ronggo Jumeno, bathed. The baths of the two historic heirlooms were performed during the suro month due to the fault of the moon.

"There are about 60 heirlooms that we bathe in. Two of the sixty heirlooms are kris-shaped 400-year-old relics of Raden Ronggo Jumeno, the first regent of Madiun as the founder of Madiun Regency," said Raden Tumenggung Siswojo Dipuro (85), caretaker who bathed an heirloom -pusaka owned by Madiun Regency, Wednesday (27/09/2017) afternoon.

Raden Tumenggung Santo Siswojo Dipuro with his colleague, Mas Ngabei Sunarko Diprojo washes all the heirlooms owned by Madiun Regency once a year at the time of suro or muharam month. Two pemamas issued a number of kris from the heirloom room Pendopo Muda Graha Madiun District.

Siswojo said the bath of the 60 heirlooms was so that the historic items did not rust. But to clean the heirlooms, the penghamas must have a clean heart and behavior, and good character in serving the country.

He mentioned, two keris relics of the first regent of Madiun each named Kiai Kala Gumarang and Kiai Baledono. In addition, there are also three other heirlooms, namely the spear Kiai Balabar and Kiai Singkir, and Wesi Towo.
