The Freak Show is historically one part of a circus show. They first sprang up in the 17th century during the European empire. They are a popular form of entertainment all over the world for up to 300 years.
Circus performers are people with poor physical or disability. The Freak Show is a bitter house as well as a money-seeking haven for those who have a real physical anomaly.

  1. Schlitzie Simon Melt
    Schlitzie Simon Melt suffers from a disorder called microcephaly. The head and brain are very small. Because in those days the medical world is not as advanced now, no one knows about the handling of this disease. Finally, Melt chose to become a member of the Freak Show. He felt it was the best choice.

  2. Madame Devere
    The woman from Bracksville, Kentucky, is also part of the Freak Show. He is considered different and suitable for display because it has a beard that reaches 38 centimeters long.

  3. Human Caterpillar
    This one man is very famous as 'Human Caterpillar'. The name was given because he was born without feet and hands. In the show he will usually roll around and light a cigarette just by using his mouth.

  4. Minnie Woolsey
    This one woman is also quite famous in its era. She gets the nickname of Koo Koo, the bird girl.

  5. Ella Harper
    Harper was born with unusual bone formation conditions. His knees bent back. Because of his condition, he chose to walk with his feet and hands. For that reason he is often called the camel girl.

  6. Isaac W. Sprague
    This man is known to be very active in the entertainment world. He was born in Massachusett with a different physical condition than most people. She was so skinny that she could see only bones, which earned him the nickname of a skull man.

  7. General Mite
    At the height of his career, General Mite (nee Francis Flynn) is 27 inches tall and weighs only 12 pounds. He only lives up to 25 years, having spent 21 Freak Show events.

  8. Puerto Rican Priscilla Bejano
    Puerto Rican Priscilla Bejano was entrusted to a circus by his parents when it was clear he had hypertrichosis, which resulted in hair growing all over his body and extra rows of teeth.
    Percilla was a popular figure during World War II and later married fellow freaks, fellow Freak Show players. Both eventually retired and retired. He lived until 2001.

    The Feejee Mermaid is a famous object in the circus scene of the Freak Show from the early 20th century.

Other Freak Show circuses have copies of Mermaid, other taxidermy creatures, or mummified people, but The Feejee Mermaid is a real Freak Show lie that is displayed simultaneously in the show.
