It is sort of convoluted across history why Friday the Thirteenth is "Bad Luck" but it was on Friday October 13th that the original Order of The Knights' Templar was rounded up for execution. It's an interesting piece of history and although many still claim some type of "Devil Worship," it was so obviously all about money and political power.

I was Knighted in the SMOTJ (a Templar Order established in 1705 and claiming to have a valid lineage back to the original Templars) back on October Friday the 13th in the year 2000. It was quite a meaningful experience for me. Very cool that we're having another Friday the 13th in October coming up. I'll have to do something special to mark the occasion. I've followed you on here and looking forward to seeing your other posts!

I am in the Masonic Order, we claim only a spiritual lineage. As with most of Masonry the origins are a little clouded but we're in the same century and I would bet have the same Ritual, at least similar.
