The Lost (and Found) Battalion, who ended the Great War, by being very hard headed!

Our Civil Was a terrible waste of life! The confederate states had the legal right to leave. The entire war was illegal, and mine fought for Lincoln....

If you ever get a chance, read "Memoirs of Service Afloat" by Raphael Semmes...Captain of the Confederate raiders CSN Sumter and CSN Alabama. He does a great job explaining the reasons for the South doing what they did, and they are TOTALLY in opposition to what our kids have been taught since the 1870s! It's very well written, as well, and beautifully illustrated.

(The descriptions of his exploits against Yankee shipping are fascinating too.)

I will look for it! That is my kind of books! Reading what happened, by an author of the period gives much greater insight into real cause and effect!

:)

Indeed it does. First hand accounts are being chucked out by librarians too. I salvaged my copy from a closeout rack at one of the bookstore chains twenty years ago....

One coming...ebay, ROFLOL! You should grab one called Kaiten; it is a great book written by a Kaiten pilot!

Bought a copy, those books are High, ROFLOL!

Where did you find it? How much did you have to pay?

Ebay $13 it is a hardback. We shall see when it gets here.
