The Story Of Aspirin

in history •  7 years ago

It was the Fascist conglomerate I.G. Farban, to which Bayer was a member along with all other pharmaco-chemical companies, that was responsible for Nazi atrocities. Of course, if we were to delegate blame for Nazi excesses, then I'd start with IBM, GE, AP, and many more American companies who giddily supplied the Third Reich with material and information.

After the war, I.G. Farban was disbanded and all of her pharmaceutical patents were confiscated by the Americans and sold to American pharmaceutical companies for $1 a piece. To the victor go the spoils, I suppose.
