This is a fighting ax of the Alan warrior of the 8th and 9th centuries from my collection. I found it personally with the help of a metal detector on the bank of an ancient river. Apparently when resting the master of the ax left him on the shore and forgot. After 1000 years I walked along this shore with a metal detector and found this beautiful ax. It was all covered with mud and rust and I had to clean it with a special tool.
