Pameo who says women as weak and always have to be protected is not always true. It was proved by Cut Nyak Meutia, a woman from Nangroe Aceh Darussalam, who kept fighting against the Dutch until martyrs hit three bullets in his body.

Women born Pirak, Matang coolie, North Aceh, in 1870, this is a National Independence Hero who until the last drop of blood still hold the principle will not be subject to the colonial.

Before Cut Nyak Meutia was born, the Dutch troops had occupied the Aceh region which was named the Veranda of Mecca. The arbitrary treatment of the Dutch with various coercion and torture eventually led to resistance from the people. Three years before the Aceh-Dutch war broke out, that's when Cut Nyak Meutia was born. The atmosphere of war at the time of his birth and development, in the future greatly affect the journey of his life.

When he grew up, he married Teuku Muhammad, a fighter better known as Teuku Cik Tunong. Although as a child he was betrothed to a man named Teuku Syam Syarif, but he chose to marry Teuku Muhammad, the man he loved so much.

The war against the Dutch occupation continued to flare up as if it had never stopped. Cut Nyak Meutia with her husband Teuku Cik Tunon directly led the war in Pasai area. The war that took place around the year 1900's that has been widely victimized both from the freedom fighters and from the Dutch side.

Dutch troops who have more weapons to force the forces of freedom fighters led by the couple did guerrilla warfare tactics. Many times their troops managed to intercept the Dutch troops patrol. At other times, they have also attacked directly to the headquarters of the Dutch forces in Idie.

There have been many losses of the Dutch government either in the form of troops killed or the material caused by the resistance of Cut Nyak Meutia troops. Therefore, through the Meutia family itself, the Dutch always tried to persuade him to surrender. But Cut Nyak Meutia was never subject to the imposing persuasion.

With her husband, fearlessly she continued to fight. But unlucky for Teuku Cik Tunong, her husband. One day in May 1905, Teuku Cik Tunong was captured by Dutch troops. He was then sentenced to shoot.

Shortly after the death of her husband, Cut Nyak Meutia remarried with Pang Nangru, the man who was appointed and ordered her first husband before serving the firing order. Pang Nangru is a close friend and belief of her first husband, Teuku Cik Tunong. Together with her second husband, Cut Nyak Meutia continued the struggle against the Dutch occupation.

On the other hand, the siege of Dutch troops increasingly tightened the day that resulted in their narrow base of defense. Cut Meutia troops increasingly pressed backwards, go deeper into the interior of Pasai jungle.

In addition, they were forced to move from one place to another to deal with traces of Dutch troops. But in one battle at Paya Cicem in September 1910, Pang Nangru was also martyred in the hands of Dutch troops. While Cut Nyak Meutia itself can still escape.

The death of Pang Nangru made some friends of Pang Nangru finally surrendered. While Meutia though persuaded to surrender but still not willing. In the interior of Pasai's jungle, he lived a life with his son, the eleven-year-old King Sabil to escape the pursuit of Dutch troops.

But the highly intensive Dutch troop pursuit made it impossible to escape. The secret of his hiding place was uncovered. In a neat and tight encircle on October 24, 1910, he was found.

Although Dutch troops armed with complete fire but that did not make his heart wry. With a rencong in hand, he kept up the fight. But three Dutch soldiers close to him opened fire. He also died after a bullet hit the head and two other pieces about his chest.
