The Royal Palace of Badung, the magnificent Denpasar Royal Palace is now gone. Its located at Bali Guvernor office. However, to be able to know the plan, can be referred to several references. In the book "Gegevens Betreffende De Zelfstandige Rijkjes op Bali" which was published by Landsdrukkerij in Batavia in 1906, among other things, there are data about the Kingdom of Badung, especially regarding Puri Denpasar. In this book, among others, there is a global plan of Puri Denpasar and an area of about 35,000 m2, as well as the 1906 Denpasar City Map.
In the 1906 Dutch Report,Denpasar Royal Palace measures 175 x 200 m (35,000 m2). This palace floor plan, drawn in 1940, seems to be more detailed than the floor plan in the 1906 Dutch report.
In the gardening area (narmada) which is the pioneer of Denpasar Royal Palace, it is said that there is a Kerta Gosa building in the southwest corner. This landscaping area may be similar to the concept of Taman Gili and Bale Kertha Gosa in Klungkung Royal Palace, because in the 1906 Dutch report, in the garden area it is also described that there is a building in the middle of the pond and AA Alit Konta's description in the song Puputan Badung (Bandana Pralaya) also mentions a beautiful building in the middle of the lake.
