I heard the Dirk Gently radio theatre once, and I read the hitchhiker books. Adams was a truly gifted person. Not sure about how I fell when the artworks are being finished like it was a franchise, but sometimes it makes for new good artwork I must admit.

I think he wanted to continue doing things with Hitchhiker's, but I loved the Dirk Gently books. Did you see the TV series? I heard there were going to be more, but made in the US.
BTW There's new Red Dwarf starting tonight in the UK. I remember watching it as a student many years ago. The more recent shows lack some of the magic, even if they have a better budget.

I never saw the Dick Gently TV-series, only heard it read by Adams himself, but I did follow Red Dwarf back in the days. Might be worth having a look at the new series!

I have read the entire series and I loved it.
I agree that the last book did not feel the same, but it was good enough and I enjoyed Asgard.
