With the Premier League kicking off on Friday, it's time for some football contests to add a little extra spice each round of fixtures.

This contest is a game that many of you may know well called "Last Man Standing".

Objective

To be the last participant remaining in the game by correctly predicting the outcome of football matches.

How to Play

Each participant must select one team they believe will win their match for that particular round of fixtures.

If the selected team wins, the participant moves on to the next round.
If the selected team loses or draws, the participant is eliminated from the game.

Rules

Each participant can only select each team once throughout the competition. Once a team has been chosen, it cannot be selected again in future rounds.

Selections are made before the first match of the round begins (in Round 1, this is Manchester United v. Fulham).

One entry per person - anybody suspected of entering with multiple accounts will be disqualified.

Rounds

The game continues over multiple rounds until only one participant remains. If all participants are eliminated in the same round, the prize will be shared amongst all eliminated participants in that round.

Winner

The last participant who successfully predicts a winning team is declared the "Last Man Standing".

Prize

As well as receiving an appropriate Champions Label (🏆) (what more could you want?), the liquid STEEM from each week's post (starting with this one) will be accumulated in the @hive-100604 account and transferred to the eventual winner(s).
