My special greetings to all people of our esteem Parent Club and steemit platform at large I believe you'll have many chances to walk in kindness today and i hope you will take advantage and enjoy every minute
Now follow me gradually on this journey of raising quality children that will be useful to you, society and the World at large.
1: Small Talk and Niceties
Help them stick to small sound bites. Brief your child right before walking into a store, school, library, or any other place where your child may meet/interact with people, and go over some things she or he can say. Tell him or her that if anyone asks how are you doing, all he or she has to do is say, “Fine, thank you as simple as that.
Giving your child some short and simple sound bites to work with can help her feel less pressured about coming up with things to say. This can also prevent them from giving too much information that might be a safety issue.
Some children actually love talking too much even extend of linking parents secret; we have to control that by regular parental warning/training.
2: Standing Up
If your child is seated—say at a restaurant or on the sofa at home—and a visitor or an acquaintance comes into the room or approaches him to say hello, teach him or her to stand up before saying his greetings. This is also a sign of respect especially in Africa culture where i'm from
3: Listen more than talking
My wish is to find an institute that teaches kids how to listen more than talking: kids need to listen at least as much as they need to talk. So many kids fail to realize that real communication is by listen more thank talking, this skill will boost them to be more successful in business/carrier when they grow up.
4: avoid bad friends
Yes bad friends corrupt good mind: most kids easily get influenced by peer groups behavior cutting across, communication, dressing and lastly manners. Its our responsibilities as parent to always warn them about bad friends around
Also lets teach them to stay true to them self first Know what they want and they shouldn't do anything just because everyone is doing it.
