Sin necesidad de salir de casa podemos conseguir cualquier cantidad de insectos y fotografiarlos. No entiendo las razones por las cuales estos animales buscan hospedajes dentro del hogar o mejor dicho, ya he comenzado a comprender el por qué.

Este animalito con pequeñas patas y otras medianas, con antenas y colas es común verlo en los closet o también en los baños. Se le llaman pez plata y su nombre científico es Lepisma saccharina estos insectos huyen de la luz y buscan sitios húmedos. Suelen ser muy rápidos al momento de escapar. Se alimentan de materiales que también solemos tener en casa, papel por ejemplo o goma plásticas de encuadernación.

Una de las bondades, aunque a las ama de casas no nos gusta, es que ellas se encargan de limpiar los espacios de algunos insectos calificados como plagas, no nos gusta tener arañas pero menos atracción sentimos por pez plata, moscas o zancudos.

Este particular insecto o mide tamaño como de alimentarse se trata. Para los jardineros resulta la mantis un amigo fiel ya que ayuda a prevenir la reproducción de plagas y acabar con las plantas.
