SPIDER ON MY LAWN

I'm pretty sure that this is a relatively small species from the Lycosidae family.

I see these spiders often on my lawn, in between two trimmings, when the small ecosystem with some self seeding plants and their flower is temporarily established.

This is a photograph of the setting.

Spider on these shots is a female ... and is carrying a cocoon with the offspring.
