Hey, stimians!

Today I'm coming to share another topic with stress. This is the most important topic for all ages. Are you under stress or not? What is stress? Can you manage it and how can I overcome stress? Do you have these problems?๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป

According to Mental Health Foundation,

Stress is our bodyโ€™s response to pressure. Many different situations or life events can cause stress. It is often triggered when we experience something new, unexpected or that threatens our sense of self, or when we feel we have little control over a situation.

It may be an internal or external stressor.

There are many types of stressors. The first one is Environmental stressors. Someone can't tolerate noise, pollution, crowding, traffic, and weather; it is due to environmental stressors.

On the other hand side, someone can't tolerate their physical injuries, illness, and hormonal fluctuations. It coz by physiological stressors.

Social stressors are financial problems, public and social events.
Another factor is self-thoughts. Someone has negative ideas he or she suffering from stress.

Sources of stress

  • Internal stressors

Internal stressors originate from within the individual. Suppose that a cancer patient has some pains in their body. He has internal stress.

  • External stressors.

This originates from the outside of the person. External stressors can happen in moving to a new place for the first time.

  • Development stressors

It occurs throughout an individual's life.
Development stressors time can be predictable in life.
Eg: Child beginning of studies.

  • Situational stressors.

This is can't be predictable. It occurs anytime during a lifetime. But it may be positive or negative.
Eg: the death of a family member is negative stress and someone's marriage is a positive stressor.
