Happy Monday to everyone!
What better way to start this week than with this homemade vegan chocolate
Chocolate has always been one of my favorite things. You know all the truths about chocolate:
"Chocolate doesn't ask silly questions, chocolate understands."
"All things are possible with chocolate and coffee". I know, right?!
"Anything is good if it's made of chocolate"
"The secret to a well balanced diet is a bar of milk chocolate in one hand and a bar of dark chocolate in the other"
And the list could go on...
This chocolate is dairy free, velvety, naturally sweetened, easy but still decandent.
INGREDIENTS
200 g dates hydrated
40 g coconut oil melted
175 g cocoa butter
75 g cacao powder
50 g sultanas
5 ml rum extract
50 g almonds/walnuts/cashew
Hydrate the dates in boiled water for 1 hour. Then, in a food processor blend them with the coconut oil, until you get a creamy consistency.
In the mixing bowl, melt the cocoa butter over bain-marie. When the cocoa butter is melted, add the cacao powder.
