Outriders preview, progress details, and secondary missions

The second broadcast of 'Outriders' has left us with a special feeling in our bodies. The promising title developed by People Can Fly looks more and more enriching as we spend tens of hours in a row without being aware of how time has passed around us. The latest details about the progression of the main and secondary missions, as well as the new class, introduced, make us look forward to the game. The more time passes, the clearer we have to mark it as one of this year's online experiences.

Kinematics for all

There is no room for boredom during the main 'Outriders' campaign. The main story makes its way into new areas to be covered, where we will have up to an hour and a half of kinematics dedicated exclusively to the plot of the main missions. Of course, there are dozens of side quests that are given, if not the same treatment, special attention to expanding the world to the players.
These side quests are adjusted to your level once you go beyond a certain limit, so it's worth completing them all, even those you skipped in the first few areas. The developers also point out that these alternate stories are accompanied by two hours of cinematics in the base content, which would make them all more than interesting to complete. To accompany these adventures with a central plot we also have bounty hunter missions in which to stop dangerous criminals or, more importantly, hunt dangerous monsters that make the planet of 'Outriders' unique.

To accompany all the hours we spend in the game we have a soundtrack to celebrate in style. The composer Inon Zur is in charge of creating the main themes that we will hear, together with the help of the Budapest symphonic band to create a different kind of sound. For those of you who don't recognize him, this is the mind that has been at the forefront of titles such as the latest 'Fallout', 'Dragon Age: Origins' and 'Crysis', among other magnificent works to which he has contributed.

The Pyromancer arrives

Last month we saw the potential of the Trickster class, and in this broadcast, we weren't about to miss out on another outstanding Outrider class. It's the turn of the Pyromancer, a type of explosive soldier, immobilizer, and focused on burning everything that needs a little extra oxygen to survive.

The rules we learned with the Trickster don't apply at all in this class. Pyromancer is a character-focused on destroying and devastating, putting the damage we cause per second first. In addition to that, you need to play aggressively with this class if you want to progress: no more careful or complex strategies beforehand. It's especially noticeable because the more we damage and burn our enemies the more health we regain, increasing our chances of survival.

The class focuses on provoking an altered state especially designed for our need to see the world burn: burn. After some of our attacks, we will provoke this state, which will take life away from our enemies for a short period of time; if we combine it with some skills like Overheat we will provoke massive damage in the rival armies. If we add area attacks like our heatwave or the ability to turn a group of enemies into ashes temporarily, we realize that this character is specially designed to fight against large hordes, a real danger for large groups that can pounce on our group.
