Any game that offers a complete all-round experience to the player will find the game itself highly rated. In this article I'll mention the 5 most highly rated games on Metacritic.
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy, one of the most famous franchises in the world of games, a platform game released in 2007, for the Wii. This is the third installment in the Super Mario series as a whole to support 3D graphics. As usual, players are entitled to play as Mario or Luigi and embark on a mission to save Princess Peach, save the world from the evils of Bowser, and collect 121 “Power Stars” items.
The game's rating on Metacritic is 97/100
SoulCalibur
Soulcalibur is a 3D gun fighting game, developed by Project Soul and published by Namco (before the famous merger). This game was first released on Arcade devices in 1998, before a Dreamcast release the following year.
This game centers on the hunt for the legendary weapon called “Soul Edge,” which, according to the events of that section, is now in the hands of Nightmare who slaughters endless numbers of enemies “to satisfy the blade’s perpetual desire for bloodshed”. The rest of the fighters pursue Nightmare with mixed intentions. Some want to destroy the weapon and end his curse, while others seek to win it to complete the never-ending march of slaughter.
The game's rating on Metacritic is 98/100
Grand Theft Auto IV
Of course, you cannot list the most rated games nor do you put any Rockstar game. And on Metacritic, they ranked GTA IV as the third highest rated game.
The game GTA IV was released in 2008 and was developed by Rockstar North Studio, as it is in part of the GTA, and this comes the eleventh part as a whole and the fourth in the main penalty
The story of this part takes place in the fictional city of Liberty City, which is originally inspired by the American city of "New York". The story tells about a veteran named Niko Bellic and the story revolves around his attempts to escape from his painful past while he experiences stress.
The game has a Metacritic rating of 98/100
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2
This game brings me so many great memories and endless hours of gameplay. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is a skateboarding game developed by Neversoft studio and published by Activision. It was released in the year 2000 on Playstation first and then it hit PC, Game Boy Color and Dreamcast in the same year, before it was released in 2001 on Game Boy Advance and Mac OS finally arrived on iOS in April of 2010.
While this part used the same engine as the first part, the introduction of the instructions and financial rewards elements within the game was the most prominent factor in the popularity of this part. Perhaps the beginning was to draw developers' attention to the possibility of rewarding players with in-game money. It seems to me that systems of internal procurement of “microtransactions” have emerged and evolved from this system.
The game has a Metacritic rating of 98/100
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
Zelda is the best game Nintendo has for me and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of the hallmarks of the game industry of its time.
The game was released in 1998 and is considered an action - adventures type, and it is the first game in the Zelda series that uses 3D graphics
The player controls the character of Link in a fictional land called Hyrule, and his goal is to stop the evil king Ganondorf at his limit, through time travel and moving between the Dungeons and the other world.
The game received a rating of 99/100 and is now the top rating on the well-known site Metacritic
