Wednesday out for lunch from office. I told my good colleagues (yes, I do have bad ones just like some of you) that I need to go change some Thai money and so want to go to Chinatown on of these two days. They were happy to join my adventure and I headed to one of the usual mala food stall to pick my food.

🎶Meanwhile, some music for you to enjoy as you read. This piece is part of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, particularly the first of the 4 violin concertos, called Spring.

A longer walk to the table I "reserved" because we managed to get a nice one under a fan.

After lunch, went to the money changer nearby that had the longest queue. I just assume everybody else had done their home work and joined the queue.

There was a stall behind that was selling grilled chicken.

Also had roast duck.

Back to work after that and the end of day highlight was Wednesday Pickleball.

I hope you got a good exchange rate, the Thai Baht is fluctuating a lot at the moment. Previously, there were two pretty cool crypto cafes and restaurants in Bangkok with nice decor (where you could pay directly in crypto), one similar to the one in Phuket that I posted about yesterday, and the other more in an NFT style. But I think they've shut down 🌸

I think the exchange rate going up and down a bit is not going to affect much. It's not like I was planning to spend tens of thousands worth of SGD. So, the difference won't be big.

glad to hear it!
