0. PREFACE

Season 23 Steemit Learning Challenge (SLC) started with an application invitation uploaded by Steemitblog on 26 January. Season 23 sees a new innovation with the advent of club mentors. This will surely bring more joy to the #learnwithsteem initiative.

3. COUNTRY COMPARISON OF APPLICANTS AND CHOSEN EDUCATORS

Out of a total of 11 countries that applied for educator positions, 4 failed to secure a single position. Below is a table showing the list of applicant countries and the number of applicants and those selected. Venezuela has been the country that has managed to rank first as the country with the most selected educators, successfully securing 8 positions out of 17 applied for, that means 47.06% of all established position this season.

4. CLOSING

The search process for educators for season 23 has ended, the #learnwithsteem initiative through the brand of Steemit Learning Challenge in the season 23 will enter the next stage on February 16th, when the educators is ecpected to upload their first posts. We see a rather significant decrease in the number of teams to 11 (including Steemit Crypto Academy) this season from 15 in the previous season.

To the chosen educators: Wishing you all the best in your new position. May you excel in your new responsibilities!

To the 43 applicants (teaching teams and club mentors) who were not selected (including me): hopefully you (and I) will be selected in the future. Keep going!

And to all Steemians : good luck and have great time Steeming On!

My note as an Indonesian: I feel a little sad, because no one is representing Indonesia this season. Of the 6 class applicants (6 teachers + 3 assistants), none made it through. But, whoever is there and has been selected, are worthy of what Steemit wants to see in the development of SLC in season 23. As always, this will be another great season, I believe.

THANKS

I hope this is useful.

I want to congratulate all those chosen. Especially @kafio, @mohammadfaisal, and @alejos7ven who have been chosen for mentoring the Technology and Development Club.

Thank you dear fellow ☺️

Told you many times I am a MOuSE not a deer. 😅😅

Cannot wait to see how you guys are gonna play this game this season. But maybe I will be left not knowing a thing like the season when you taught Flutter App development. 😅😅 Was not this MOuSE playground.

Haha Don't worry there may be some surprising things for everyone in the technology and development learning club. I hope this mouse will also get something.

@wakeupkitty ... 😅

Let's take a look at the following chart.

xx.png

I always like to look at diagrams of certain data. Sometimes we can only get the raw information about each data at the time of recording, sometimes we can guess the reason behind the data. And it will be more interesting if we know the reason with full confidence.

I honestly don't know what the Steemit Team considers in determining the number of teams and members in each season. I think they have a certain vision for each season, or maybe that vision is formed when evaluating all the applications submitted. For example, in determining the Learning Clubs for season 23, steemcurator01 actively advocated for the applicants and eventually the applicants who had similar topics were united in the same Mentoring Club, so we saw 8 people who applied alone ended up working in 3 clubs. Other things like the ones you mentioned (didn't live up to expectations, low level) could be among the reasons why we saw a decent drop in the number of teams this season.

So, as of now, from the above diagram I can only conclude that there is no fixed number of teaching teams or members in each season. The Steemit team only opens opportunities and sees what comes up, then decides.

Do you have any thoughts you might be able to share?

Terimakasih banyak atas informasinya 🙂

Memang bukan masalah besar, masalah kecil pun sebenarnya bukan. 😆😆

ThxFCv2.png

Haha..

Terimakasih banyak atas harapan baik anda,,

Memang bukan masalah besar, masalah kecil pun sebenarnya bukan. 😆😆
