Spending one's wealth in the way of Allah in order to please Him is called "Sadaqah". The Qur'an and Sunnah mention the immense virtues and benefits of charity. In view of the present situation, some important things are mentioned about charity which must be kept in mind while doing this good deed.

Charity with good intention

Intention must be right for every good deed. Which means that Allah is pleased with this good deed. Man should save himself from worldly fame and hypocrisy, etc., otherwise he will be punished by Allah in spite of his good deeds. In the hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) mentions some people who may have done good deeds in this world, but on the Day of Resurrection they will be thrown into Hell because they did that. Instead of pleasing Allah, they would have done it for worldly fame. Most of the types will be given to him. He will be brought before Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty will show His blessings to this person whom he will recognize. Allah Almighty will ask this person: What did you do for him? He will say that I have not left any place where you like to spend and I have not spent there to please you. Allah will say: You are lying. Yes, you spent it so that people would call you generous and it has been rumored that people in the world called you generous. Is it permissible to be dragged on the bill of Asimna and thrown into Hell

Meaning: O you who believe! Spend in the way of Allah a portion of what you have earned and what We have brought forth for you from the earth, good things. And do not make the intention that you will give in the name of Allah that which is bad, if someone else gives it to you, you will not be able to take it out of disgust, and keep in mind that Allah is such. Needless to say, every kind of praise ultimately returns to Him. Do not spend for Allah which is dear to you and whatever you spend Allah knows it very well. It is narrated from Hazrat Salman bin Amir that the Holy Prophet The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Giving alms to a poor person is a reward, while giving alms to a deserving relative is a double reward of almsgiving and a merciful reward. It is narrated in a long hadith from Hazrat Anas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Giving alms secretly removes the wrath of Allaah and giving alms openly saves one from evil. It is correct to do charity in both ways, even if it is done openly, there is no harm in it, and it is better if it is done in secret. There are some occasions where it is better to show it so that the rest of the people will be motivated and interested in it and they too will participate in the work of goodness by forgetting the pleasure of Allah and their pride, superiority and Doing so for the sake of fame is called hypocrisy. The Holy Qur'an does not condemn open charity but praises it. Therefore, people who are unfamiliar with the mysteries and secrets of dry nature should never be deceived into believing that open charity does not bring any reward. This is sheer deception. Therefore, if a person gives charity according to the declaration and also does proper publicity in view of its legitimate purposes, so that other people also become interested or the givers of wealth become convinced that their given wealth is reaching the deserving people. If so, this act is not against the Shariah at all

Don't waste charity:

Warning: In the current situation, philanthropists from all walks of life are giving generously. May Allah Almighty accept this good deed of all of them. It should be kept in mind that one's self-esteem should not be harmed while giving charity to someone. It is a great tragedy for us that people take a picture of someone when they give him something and spread it on social media. Sometimes when he gives something, many people are busy taking a picture of him. That is why deserving people do not come for charity

Don't forget the religious institutions in charity

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Saeed that the Holy Prophet (sws) said: O addressee, your food should be eaten only by the pious and pious people. The poor, especially the working class, have been hit hard. There is no doubt that this is indeed the case, but keep in mind that these conditions have also had a devastating effect on religious institution . In religious institution , all the basic needs of the students who are the assets and capital of this society are met, including food, accommodation, clothing, books and medical treatment and scholarships. In addition, the monthly salaries of teachers and staff, rations and utility bills and construction, etc. are also covered by ushers, zakat, alms and donations.
