Bank Aceh Syariah Bireuen Holds Blood Donation Activity in Celebration of Its 51st Anniversary.

Bank Aceh Syariah Bireuen, Aceh Province, held a blood donation activity in collaboration with the Blood Transfusion Unit of the Bireuen Regional General Hospital (UTD RSUD), Monday, 05/08/2024.

The activity took place in the yard of Bank Aceh Bireuen, donors in addition to donating blood in a special bus, also in a tent provided in the front yard. The donors consisted of Bank Aceh Employees, Civil Servants, TNI, Polri, Various Institutional Elements and the Community. In the context of its 51st Anniversary, Bank Aceh managed to collect 111 blood bags.

The donors were seen queuing to participate in the donation which began with filling in biodata, checking blood pressure and officers also asking about the condition of prospective donors.

The bank employees, in addition to donating blood, also helped the UTD RSUD Bireuen officers. The banking leadership elements including the leadership of Bank Aceh Syariah Bireuen also donated blood with the community and various other groups.

The blood donation started at 09.00 WIB and ended around 12.00 WIB. Officers collected 111 blood bags from the target of 200 bags.

The Head of Bank Aceh Syariah Bireuen Branch, Tarmizi said, the blood donation with the community and various other groups was in order to commemorate the 51st anniversary of Bank Aceh this year, precisely August 6, 2024.

The blood donation activity is expected to provide benefits for the community or patients who need blood.

"Our blood donation is collaborating with the UTD RSUD Bireuen, the blood collected is handed over to the hospital to help patients in need," he said.

Hopefully a drop of blood collected will be useful for the community or patients who need blood transfusions.

It is hoped that by donating blood together with the presence of Bank Aceh, it can provide benefits for the Bireuen community in general in various aspects and also for patients who need blood.
