Commemorating Children's Day, Gampong Bireuen Meunasah Capa Holds Blood Donation.

The Bireuen Meunasah Capa Gampong (Village) Government, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, held a blood donation activity, Tuesday, 23/07/2024.

This activity is in commemoration of National Children's Day (HAN) as well as helping the availability of blood at the Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD). This activity took place in the yard of the local Gampong government office.

In the blood donation which was attended by local residents and the public, the Head of the Bireuen District Prosecutor's Office (Kajari), H Munawal Hadi SH MH and his employees participated in blood donation.

Keuchik Gampong (Village Head) Bireuen Meunasah Capa, Zulkarnain said, residents held a blood drive to commemorate National Children's Day which involved donors from their residents and the general public who wanted to donate blood.

"So anyone who wants to donate blood, we will make this blood donation a routine agenda every three months. We hope that this activity can help our relatives who need blood transfusions," he explained.

Head of the State Prosecutor's Office (Kajari) Bireuen H Munawal Hadi and employees who took part in donating blood told journalists at the location that they were very supportive of the social activities held by the gampong government and were very positive in helping people in need of blood.

"As Kajari Bireuen and also a resident of Kommes Hamlet, I really support this very positive social activity," he said.

Kajari said that the Keuchik coordinated with him and invited employees to attend today's blood donation, and also appealed to the public to help donate blood for their own health and also to help people in need, he said.

The results of the donation which was held in collaboration with the Blood Transfusion Unit of the Bireuen Regional General Hospital (UTD RSUD) obtained 35 bags of blood.

Head of UTD RSUD Dr. Fauziah Bireuen, Wardati, said that currently the condition of the blood supply is safe for the time being, as well as dealing with frequent blood shortages, the party continues to communicate with various parties, government agencies to be able to hold regular blood donations on a regular basis, he hopes.
