Good Day everyone!

Here I am again and now to share to you all our Garlic vine #plant that we own and grow on our outside from garden.

I took care off all the plants here in our house, well by taking care means watering them day by day.
Its been 2-3 years since we have this plant, I think? and it took 2 years for this to bloom flowers. I never even thought that this plant can grow a buds of flowers anyway.

So seeing all this buds makes me shocked. For me the first time this plant bloomed some flowers was on March and I thoughts that it bloomed when my grandfather passed away that month. It was really a memorable one. And a week after that it withered.

And now it's the month of August and this will be the 2nd time it it grows buds and blooms flower. I asked my mom what plant this was since I still don't have any knowledge about the names of the plants.

My mom told me it is called Garlic Vine and it is a woody climbing plant. Also called Ajos Sacha from the family plant of Bignoniaceae but it is best referred as Mansoa Alliacea.

I took this photo on August 11, 2021 on my phone and it has only one flower that is blooming, this is the early stage of buds.

Others are still buds of flowers that are preparing to bloom on the right time. I was watering our plants and notice the beauty of our plant especially its color. The sun really helps to see how bright the color is.
This was the first one to bloom and at the middle of our so called garden.

This one I took from the right side of our house since it already wide and spreads on our front gate to the side. And just look how the sun gives more color to it. It is exquisite. ๐Ÿ˜

Lastly, the one that is already climbing our gate to our canopy which goes over the gate that comes through. Just look how many buds there are. So beautiful. I water them regularly but now that it is raining most of the time, I just let the rain do its thing.

After 2 days of waiting, finally most if it started to bloom and show its true beauty. Too bad the sun is covered with clouds and seems like it is going to rain again but here are some of the photos I took to let you see how they grow and bloom to its beauty.

I tried smelling it and it really a garlicky smell. But it is not bad. It smells nice actually. ๐Ÿ˜Š so here they are. What do you guys think?

I love how they bloom, and I know it's not yet in their fully bloom stage but just this view it really is wonderful! How nature can be surprising of its beauty. I know I am being redundant about how beautiful it is but IT REALLY IS BEAUTIFUL ๐Ÿ˜ I've never grew(plant) something as beautiful as this plant even the color itself. It is all new to me.

I hope maybe next time they will be lots of them to bloom and spread even more. From 2 sets of buds to many groups. I can't wait to see how they will be covered with flowers.

In this photo I tried to take the best angle to capture it. It was too cloudy and I made sure fine the perfect angle so I could share to you how it looks like without sunlight.

As you also can see there are still buds that hasn't bloom yet so there is more to come. And I will try to update you guys, for those whonare interested to see how it will look like after all the buds bloomed fully. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Pretty isn't, it also look so delicate to touch. And I hope it last longer that before. This is how it looks like from where I am standing. It has a few yet still beautiful to look at.

Garlic Vines are good to grown if you also wanted to have a very nice wall plant and know how ro take care if them. Its body is woody and kind of hard so forming them on for example on your front gate of to a wall, make sure to be careful not to break them. So it can maintain its beauty and won't waste its growth.

What I did was spread some long stems and body to our gate but I don't know if it looks fine. I just want them to spread and climbed more, once you placed it in one place it will be hard to detached because they have this fast growing stems that wrapped around on the woody body that would look like they are embrasing. And it is pretty hard to remove.

I found this on a website where it indicates how to properly take care of Garlic Vine plants.

It needs full sunlight, only needs less watering and need moderate care. There are two colors of the flower it can be pink or violet. But from the first bloom on March, first it turns violet to pink when it fully blooms. It is a nice discovery though. And it can grown in all season.

That is all for today and thank you for stopping by. Hpe to see you on my next post. Follow me and support me.
