Saludos, amigos de la comunidad Steen SEA. Permítanme presentarme, soy @joslud y vivo en Venezuela, en un lugar llamado La Puerta (pues es la entrada a la cordillera andina hacia los picos nevados). El clima acá es fantástico y las plantas se desarrollan en todo su esplendor, tanto en la misma naturaleza como en los cultivos de vegetales.
En La Puerta, entrar en contacto directo con la naturaleza es muy fácil, aquí he aprendido que las plantas se comunican, es decir la manera en que crecen nos da indicaciones de lo que les está pasando, por ejemplo, si le faltan o sobran nutrientes, o agua le da mucho sol o viento.

Ahora, si las plantas se comunicaran de manera directa, si pudiesen hablar, imagino que nos sorprenderían con historias y conocimientos milenarios. Yo les haría muchas preguntas, por ejemplo: ¿Cómo se sienten cuando les toco las hojas con delicadeza? ¿Qué opinan sobre mis habilidades para cuidarlas? ¿Les gusta que les hable o prefieren oírme cantar?

He estado tomando algunos cursos sobre cultivos y fabricación de compost para fertilizar los sembradíos, allí he ido aprendiendo que las plantas “nos cuentan” las cosas que les pasan: en cuanto a la manera en que extienden sus hojas, si aparecen decoloraciones en los borde o hacia el centro de estas; pudiese ser exceso o falta de algunos fertilizantes. De la misma manera ellas señalan si les sobra o si les hace falta agua.
Quizás me dirían: "¡Hey, humano! Necesitamos más agua por aquí" o "¿Muéveme un poco más cerca de la ventana? Me encanta el sol". Incluso podrían darme consejos sobre cómo mantener alejadas a las plagas. Imaginen recibir toda esa sabiduría directamente de las plantas.

¿Cómo cuidarlas mejor?
En este orden, llega a mi memoria una película de M. Night Shyamalan. Cuyo argumento central se basaba en que las plantas desarrollaron una forma de comunicación, siendo capaces de intercambiar información y ponerse de acuerdo para salvar el equilibrio ecológico, en vista que nosotros los humanos, nos fuimos convirtiendo en una amenaza para la vida en el planeta.
En la película, “The Happening”, esta manera en que las plantas se comunicaban, me lleva a reflexionar sobre la importancia de la armonía en la naturaleza y cómo podemos aprender de ellas. Nos muestra la necesidad de escuchar y entender su lenguaje.
Aunque las plantas no pueden hablar en el sentido convencional. Si, las entendiésemos mejor nuestras vidas serían más emocionantes y llenas de aprendizaje. Podemos aprender a escuchar su lenguaje silencioso a través de sus hojas, su crecimiento y su belleza. Se hace necesario cuidar y proteger a nuestras amigas verdes, porque sin ellas, nuestro mundo sería un lugar mucho menos vibrante y lleno de vida.
Recuerda, si alguna vez sientes que las plantas te hablan en susurros silenciosos, ¡no te preocupes! Es solo la magia de la naturaleza jugando contigo en su propio lenguaje.

Greetings, friends of the Steen SEA community. Let me introduce myself, I am @joslud and I live in Venezuela, in a place called La Puerta (as it is the entrance to the Andean mountain range towards the snow-capped peaks). The climate here is fantastic and plants develop in all their splendor, both in nature and in vegetable crops.
At La Puerta, coming into direct contact with nature is very easy, here I have learned that plants communicate, that is, the way they grow gives us indications of what What is happening to them, for example, if there is a lack or excess of nutrients, or if there is too much sun or wind in the water.

I would ask them many questions, for example: How do they feel when I touch their leaves gently? What do you think of my skills in caring for them? I have been taking some courses on crops and making compost to fertilize the crops, there I have been learning that plants “tell us” the things that happen to them: regarding way in which they extend their leaves, if discolorations appear on the edges or towards the center of them; It could be excess or lack of some fertilizers. In the same way, they indicate if they have too much or if they need water.
Maybe they would say, "Hey, human! We need more water around here" or "Move me a little closer to the window? I love the sun." They could even give me advice on how to keep pests away. Imagine receiving all that wisdom directly from plants.

In this order, a film by M. Night Shyamalan comes to mind. The central argument of which was based on the fact that plants developed a form of communication, being able to exchange information and agree to save the ecological balance, given that we humans became a threat to life on the planet.
In the movie, “The Happening”, this way in which plants communicated leads me to reflect on the importance of harmony in nature and how we can learn from them . It shows us the need to listen and understand their language.
Although plants cannot speak in the conventional sense. If we understood them better, our lives would be more exciting and full of learning. We can learn to listen to its silent language through its leaves, its growth and its beauty. It is necessary to care for and protect our green friends, because without them, our world would be a much less vibrant and full of life place.
Remember, if you ever feel like plants are talking to you in quiet whispers, don't worry! It's just the magic of nature playing with you in its own language.
