At the Haul of Abu Lam Ateuk, Acting Governor of Aceh Hands Over Hundreds of Sarongs & Towels.

Acting Governor of Aceh Safrizal ZA M Si, attended the 25th Haul of Abu Muhammad bin Tgk Zamzami or familiarly called Abu Lam Ateuk, at Dayah Istiqamatuddin Darul Muarif, in Gampong (Village) Lambaro Bileue, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province, Monday (20/1/2025).

Arriving at the location, Acting Governor Safrizal was greeted directly by Abu Muhaffazh bin Mubammad bin Zamzami or familiarly called Abu Cut, as the leader of Dayah Istiqamatuddin Darul Muarif and the ranks of the dayah teachers.

"Alhamdulillah, today we can attend the Haul of our teacher Abu Lam Ateuk. God willing, through this activity we can remember and practice the various knowledge and learning that he has taught. Alhamdulillah, by attending the Haul of Abu Lam Ateuk, we can also meet and socialize," said the former Acting Governor of South Kalimantan.

After the Dzuhur prayer in congregation, the Acting Governor handed over a package of hundreds of sarongs and towels for the students to Abu Cut.

During the visit, the best graduate of the first batch of STPDN was accompanied by the Head of the Aceh Islamic Sharia Service Zahroel Fajri, the Head of the Aceh Dayah Education Service Munawar, and the Head of the Aceh Muslim Social Service.

Also present were the Acting Regent of Aceh Besar Muhammad Iswanto, the elected Regent of Aceh Besar Muharram and a number of dayah leaders in Aceh.

Meanwhile, the Acting Regent of Aceh Besar Muhammad Iswanto said that the commemoration of the Haul that was carried out could recall what he had conveyed as well as the acts of worship that could be role models and practice the various knowledge and learning that Abu had taught.

"There are many acts of worship that can be our role models from him, and we can practice the various knowledge and learning that he has taught," added Iswanto.

Also present on the occasion were Member of the DPD RI from Aceh Tgk Ahmada, members of the Aceh DPR, Chairperson and Members of the Aceh Besar DPRK and a number of heads of OPD Aceh and Aceh Besar as well as prominent figures in Aceh Besar and Banda Aceh City.
