The Bireuen Aceh Arts Council (DKA) collaborated with the Bireuen District Government to successfully hold the Red and White Festival Reception Night, Saturday (19/08/2023) evening at the local Regent's meuligoe.
The evening of the Red and White Festival Reception was the culmination of a series of DKA Bireuen activities which had been held since the morning. The stage for the Red and White Celebration Reception Night also featured various artistic presentations, interspersed with announcing the winners of various competitions for the 78th Indonesian Independence Day.
Acting Bireuen Regent Aulia Sofyan, Ph.D, in his remarks said that all series of activities had been carried out successfully.
Aulia Sofyan hoped that the public would maintain security and order during the peak of the reception night.
Secretary of DKA Bireuen Novianti Maulida Rahmah, S.Pd who was the MC at the activity then continued the event with an auction of umbrella paintings.
Those who took part in the auction were Acting Bireuen Regent Aulia Sofyan P.hD, Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko SH MH, Chair of the Bireuen DPRK, Rusyidi Mukhtar, Dandim 0111/Bireuen, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Ade Munandar, S.I.Pem, Head of the Bireuen District Prosecutor's Office (Kajari) , Munawal Hadi SH MH and Bireuen Regional Secretary, Ir Ibrahim Ahmad M.Sc.
Funds collected from the umbrella painting auction amounted to IDR 12 million.
"The funds from the auction of this umbrella painting will be donated to underprivileged school children," said Novianti Maulida Rahmah.
Previously, in the morning, the Red and White Festival in commemoration of the 78th Birthday of the Republic of Indonesia (HUT-RI), was opened with a speech art performance (Ratoh) PMTOH, which was presented by Syeh Din Sabon.
The Head of DKA Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, A.Md., SH said, DKA Bireuen this year also wants to participate and take part in celebrating the 78th Indonesian Independence Day, by holding various competitions.
"There are poetry reading competitions and umbrella painting competitions, as well as an art stage at night," said the man who is familiarly called Mukhlis Takabeya.
Mukhlis Takabeya said that DKA Bireuen participated and tried to make the event as lively as possible.
