Hello Steemians!
Hope you had a nice weekend! As for me, the weekend was filled with amazing things, especially yesterday.
When my preschooler woke up yesterday, he wanted to eat breakfast straightaway. Thus, we decided to eat a simple Bread & Jam for breakfast, because he seemed very hungry.
After breakfast, all of us get ourselves ready. While waiting for everyone to be done, I asked our preschooler to play at the bed while I rest there. Yesterday my tummy was a bit unwell, so I had to lie down a bit to relax myself and ease the pain.
Once we were ready, we had some sandwiches from Subway as lunch. My preschooler and I shared a Roasted Beef sandwich, and we love it so much! After lunch, we went to my sister's house for my niece's birthday celebration.
After we parked at their garden, my preschooler was excited to see two cats that were very, very friendly. The cats greeted us well, and then we went into my sister's house and performed Asar prayer. After that, we had some hi-tea with their family. My sister prepared Laksa Johor for the adults and Spaghetti Bolognese for the kids.
It was great to gather with the family, so we chatted for quite some time. Then, it was time for cutting cake. My sister made a simple Ovaltine Cake, which suits the taste of the kids. They love them! After that, it was the long-awaited opening present session. We bought a book titled Pet Stories written by Enid Blyton for my niece, because she is such a bookworm!
Then, my husband offered some chocolate biscuit sticks, which he had bought for the kids. They were all really happy to eat and play around. When it was about 6.45 p.m., we said by to everyone. My sister even packed us some spaghetti bolognese. How thoughtful of her!
However, by the time we got home, we were too full, so we kept the spaghetti in the fridge. After Isya' all of us drink some milk and my preschooler played for awhile, before going to bed at 10.30 p.m.
And that's how our day went yesterday. :)
