Bangladeshi cuisine is rich and varied in the use of different types of spices. We have delicious and tasty food, snacks and sweets. Rice is our main food. It is served with a variety of vegetables, curry, lentil soup, fish and meat. The main source of meat is fish. Fish is currently cultivated in ponds. We also get freshwater fish in canals, beels and rivers. There are more than 40 types of fish in Bangladesh. Among them are Rui, Katla, Magur, Shrimp etc. Dry and dried fish are very popular in our country.
