Words are powerful stuff. They can motivate, inspire and educate us. When I come across words that resonate with me, I will take a note of them and add them to my collection. I have been doing that since my school days. They have taught me a great deal about life. It is great to to be able to understand what the quote says, and equally great to know that someone have gone through what I am going through and have put it more eloquently.

That’s been one of my mantras – focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains. - Steve Jobs
Each man has his own fortune in his hands; as the artist has a piece of rude matter, which he is to fashion to a certain shape. But the art of living rightly is like all arts: the capacity alone is born with us; it must be learned, and practiced with incessant care. - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I agree. Words have strength attached to them. But, it is not always the same between each person and the words being said or read.
I remember a quote that says that a good book is a connection between the writer's words and the reader's mindset. The strength of connection between the two is always subject to change.
