Hi from Suriname dear friends! I have a little taro, some bean spouts, and carrots from last week, so I made this dish. This is Chinese-style food. Normally in Cambodia we make this food with just pork and taro.
I added other vegetables to this recipe because I had only a little taro, and of course I made this an Ital vegan recipe. We can deep fry these also but I have a sore throat, so I donβt want to eat too much oil.

Ingredients
- 1 small taro
- 1 carrot
- a little bean spouts
- a little green onions
- 3 cloves garlic chops
- 4 dried black mushrooms
- 1 tsp or taste
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp mushroom-flavored soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1/3 cup flour
Soak black mushrooms in water until soft.
Then cut everything like this. Take taro and carrot and add 1/2 tsp sal, then then mix it up.
Heat oil then fry garlic a little bit until brown, then add mushrooms and fry it a little. Now add crushed tofu, fry it and add salt, sugar, soy sauce, mushroom soy sauce, and white pepper. Stir-fry it well.
Finally add green onions, itβs ready. After add fried tofu to the taro, carrots, bean spouts, and flour. Mix it all together well. After make it into balls.
Then take them to steam 20 minutes or until cooked.
