Today I would like to share my weekend review.
Usually my Fridays was spent on checking of the passed modules of my students but I am really excited after a busy morning Friday. Because we are going to Roro Port Cordova, Cebu Philippines.This newly developed port was once a vacant grassy and bushy lot with seaview nearby.
Now it is a morning place for those who wants to be physically fit. People jog and walk enjoying the seabreeze. At night it becomes a place where families and friends dine out with pork barbecue, "tuna panga' and "tuslob-buwa" .
Tuna-panga is a half jaw of a big tuna fish grilled in onions ,tomatoes and some were garnished with lemongrass. It tastes good for a circle of friends partnered with drinks they prefer.
We usually go for barbecue meals. Since our kids love barbecue. After we eat we enjoy some mango and avocado shake before heading home.
On Saturdays after doing some home chores, me and my husband will rush to attend our bible study together with our group. We belonged in different churches. We help people who are out of prison by bringing them the good news that God loves them and they still have hope.
This is my favorite day.
I cannot explain it but it makes my week complete. Some of my friends asked me if am I not afraid of this people. I said no because in them I see humility leading to goodness and they are really honest accepting their sins of the past. Out of ten there maybe two or three who needs to be revoked if wronged.
Those who are not willing to change their ways just come and go but we prayed for a touch of his heart.
On Sundays, after attending church service , before we will have our lunch to our mothers home. Since kids love to visit their grandmom. But now we have to go straight home for no visitations to other home is allowed.
Today if we cannot go to church due to some government restrictions. We will attend online services or on TV. Then we will watch some old movies on tv eating boiled bananas together.
Except for special ocassions this how we usually spend our weekends.
