My dear steemian fellows! I am @syedabatool from Pakistan 🇵🇰. Today I participate in the contest that is organized by the @walictd. The topic contest is "If plants could talk". It's amazing contest in which I express our questions That's what we want to ask plants. So, without wastage of the time let's start.
If plants could talk like humans, what would you want to tell them?
It's such a amazing question. If plants could talk, I'd want to tell them how much I appreciate all the oxygen they provide for us to breathe. I'd also ask them about their experiences growing and living in nature. It would be amazing to have conversations with plants and learn more about their world. I'd love to hear about their growth process, the secrets of their roots, and maybe even some gardening tips from them!
It would be so fascinating . I bet plants would have some pretty cool stories about the insects that visit them, the different colors of flowers they produce, and maybe even the songs they sing in the wind. It's fun to imagine all the unique things they could share with us .
Plants could chat about the secrets of their roots, the dance of pollination, and the whispers of the leaves in the wind. It's like they have a whole symphony of nature's tales waiting to be told.
Looking at the condition of the plants around you, what do the plants tell you?
Sounds like the plants in your area are feeling the heat! They might be saying they need some extra hydration, a bit of shade, and maybe a gentle breeze to cool off. It's important to take care of them during hot weather so they can thrive.
Plants in hot weather might be feeling the burn and asking for more water, a shady break, and some extra love to stay thriving. It's like they're saying, "Help us beat the heat, please!".Ferns, peace lilies, and spider plants are some examples of plants that require more water.
It's important to water them regularly to keep them healthy and happy.Regularly check soil moisture levels and adjust watering as needed.
Plants may not be happy in hot weather because excessive heat can lead to issues like dehydration, wilting, sunburn, and stress on the plant. Some plants are more sensitive to high temperatures and may struggle to survive in extreme heat. Providing adequate water, shade, and protection can help plants cope with hot weather .
How could you take better care of plants, if you knew what they wanted?
what the plants wanted, we could take better care of them by providing the right amount of water, sunlight, and nutrients. Understanding each plant's specific needs, such as how much water they require and the type of light they prefer.
Some plants, like orchids and ferns, need higher humidity.Use shade cloths, garden nets, or even temporary structures like umbrellas or tents to protect plants from the intense midday sun.
Most houseplants prefer temperatures between 65°F and 75°F (18°C to 24°C). Some plants may need specific nutrients; for instance, flowering plants often benefit from a fertilizer higher in phosphorus.
Understanding whether your plant is a slow grower or a fast grower can help you provide the right care.Grouping plants can help maintain higher humidity levels Regularly clear fallen leaves and other debris from the soil surface to prevent mold and pests.
I invite my friends to participate in the contest
