Introduction to Nha Trang
Nha Trang City is located in Khanh Hoa Province in the central coastal region of Vietnam. It is one of the more secluded seaside cities in Vietnam. The main attractions in Nha Trang include Nha Trang Waterfront, Nha Trang Pearl Island, Chong Luo Scenic Area, Po Nagar Cham Towers, Nha Trang Cathedral, Red Rock Point, Nha Trang Mya Island, etc.
Nha Trang gives people the feeling of being very open, with bottomless sea water, soft and delicate white sand, and beautiful beaches that are not independent existences. Three Wonderland islands are recommended, namely Black Island, Bamboo Island, and Haiyan Island.
Check in Nha Trang
Five Finger Rock
The first attraction when I came to Nha Trang to check in, the five-finger rock, a special landscape of nature, stands on a huge rock wall by the sea, with a huge five-finger handprint printed on it.
Mud bath
The next thing to experience is the mud bath. The entire scenic area is still very beautiful, with mud baths and normal swimming pools. It's so comfortable and slippery, you can feel it when you go. But don't soak for too long, just like applying a mask.
For breakfast, taste the local specialties-Pho + French sticks, and Vietnamese spring rolls. They taste good.
Nha Trang Cathedral
Nha Trang was a French colony before, and the entire church was carved out of stone, so it is also called a stone cathedral.
The church was built from 1928 to 1933. The church is high on a hillside. Although it looks like a simple building made of stones, it is very conspicuous in the small coastal city of Nha Trang, especially the church bell. The tower has carved patterns on the outer walls, and there are many sculptures and stone carvings of biblical stories around it. Although I could not get in, I can still see the Gothic vibe of the whole church.
Tianyi Temple
The locals also call this temple Po Nagar. The main tower is dedicated to the Champa Goddess. She is the mother of the Champa Kingdom that ruled Nha Trang in ancient times. Hindus call the Champa Goddess the incarnation of the Hindu God Siva. But Vietnamese Buddhists call her the goddess Tianyi.
The scenery near Cham Towers is too beautiful. You can visit it inside. If you don’t wear it properly, don’t worry about it. There is a free robe next to it. You can take it and put it on yourself. Take off your shoes at the door and enter barefoot.
